With Reemergence of Crypto Bull Run, Global Hedge Funds Report Breakthrough in Their Performances

SS&C GlobeOp has announced robust figures regarding hedge fund performance and capital movement from November to December 2024. The Hedge Fund Performance Index recorded a gross return of 2.32% for November, whereas the Capital Movement Index increased by 0.27% in December.
In 2024, net capital flows reached their highest level since 2021, with December recording net flows of 0.27%, a notable improvement from the -0.47% observed in the prior year. The cumulative Capital Movement Index is currently at 125.42 points, reflecting a decrease of 1.75 points over the last year.
The performance year-to-date has attained 8.89%, while the return over the past 12 months stands at 11.13%. The Performance Index exhibits a notably low correlation of 25-30% with widely recognized equity market indices, thereby providing investors with risk-adjusted returns that have minimal correlations, serving to enhance traditional investment portfolios.
